Les églises byzantines ont toujours évoqué pour moi l'image d'une pierre un peu massive abritant à l'intérieur un joyau, un peu comme la gangue d'une améthyste.
On rejoint ici encore ( après le post précedent) l'idée du trésor caché dans la matière, dans l'ombre de l'être.

Dans l'église de Chora, à Istamboul , les artistes d'autrefois nous montrent à voir cette Lumière, cette Force extraordinaire qui vient nous arracher à nos enfermements les plus noirs. ( Il y en a des serrures, des clés , des loquets , je me surprends aussi à y voir comme des stérilets , symboles de tout ce qui nous emprisonne, tout ce qui stérilise toute vie créatrice en nous....!)

Byzantine churches evoke for me the image of a rough stone hiding in its heart a magnificent gem, like the gangue of an amethyst.

We touch here (as in the precedent post) the idea of the treasure hidden in the matter, in the shadows deep down in the heart of  the human being.

In the church of Chora in Istambul, the Artists of the former times show us in this fresco this extraordinary Power, Luminous Being who comes to rescue us from our darkest inprisonments .

(How many locks, keys, latches even "coils" symbols of metal devices aimed to imprison and sterilize the creative life in us!...

Et pour ne pas oublier que c'est dans l'humain qu'il nous faut rechercher cette lumière, cette silencieuse présence au-delà de la surface des apparences et du vacarme de nos vies, petite vidéo...

And to not forget that it is in the human being himself that we must search for this light, this quiet presence far beyond  the surface of the outside and the noise racket of our lives, a little video ...

SHERRY LOEHR : freshness and simplicity/ fraîcheur et simplicité

J'ai découvert aujourd'hui dans un site grec (http://www.pharaona1.blogspot.co)  qu'un textile de soie produit à partir d'un million d'araignées de madacascar est exposé au musée américain d'histoire naturelle : sa teinte est d'un or naturel et d'une solidité à toute épreuve. Extraordinaire!...

Yesterday, as I glanced through the "3world" site shamanic gallery I stumbled upon a splendid Tibetan statue of the Goddess Saraswati playing an ancient indian instrument called "vînâ".
 I love  her posture, and  her fine and sweet features!... So gorgeous!...

Hier alors que je parcourais la galerie d'objets rituels dans le site "3worlds" , je suis tombée en arrêt devant une splendide statue de la Déesse Sarasvati jouant sur un ancien instrument indien appelé "vînâ".
J'aime sa posture, la délicatesse et la douceur de ses traits !... Splendide!..

I knew her as the goddess of music, poetry and art.

Today , making some research, I have discovered that long, long ago ,she was associated with a broad river which flowed from the heaven to purify and fertilize the earth. She was invocated as the divine Healer for the recovery of injuries.

She was born when Brahma  created the world to bring the language , as a way to differentiate the human from the animals.

she is often seen with a white swan or a peacock.

J'avais entendu parler d'elle comme la déesse de la musique , de la poésie et des arts.
Aujourd'hui, en faisant des recherches, je découvre qu'à l'origine elle était associée à une large rivière qui coulait du paradis pour purifier et fertiliser la terre. Elle était invoquée pour la guérison des blessures.
Elle est née quand Brahma a créé le monde pour apporter le langage  comme moyen de différentiation d'avec les bêtes.
On la voit souvent accompagnée d'un cygne blanc ou un paon.

It would be a great idea to honor Saraswati as her festival generally occurs during this time in the year.

Goddess of word, creativity and knowledge, I devote this new blog to Her...

Ce serait le moment approprié pour honorer Sarasvati, sa fête ayant lieu durant cette période de l'année.
